Mouse monoclonal antibody Anti-Human POLD1

Catalog No. BMR00559 ¡Î2761C6a¡Ï Data Sheet

¢£Background
Possesses two enzymatic activities: DNA synthesis (polymerase) and an exonucleolytic activity that degrades single stranded DNA in the 3'- to 5'-direction. Required with its accessory proteins (proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and replication factor C (RFC) or activator 1) for leading strand synthesis. Also involved in completing Okazaki fragments initiated by the DNA polymerase alpha/primase complex. [UniProtKB¡¡Function]

¢£Application Data
Detection of POLD1 by Western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate from human HEK293 (H, 25 μg) and rat F2408 (R, 25 μg) cells. [Lot No. 2761C6a-1]

Predicted molecular weight: 123 kDa
  Western blot protocol
Immunostaining analysis in HeLa cells. HeLa cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS. The cells were immunostained with anti-POLD1 mAb. [Lot No.2761C6a-1]
  Immunocytochemistry protocol

¢£Quality of Control
Western blot analysis of immunized recombinant protein, using anti-POLD1 monoclonal antibody.

Arrow indicates the region of immunized recombinant protein carrying 50-200 amino acids.
